Blue Sky Vermont Packing began out of an initiative of our Food Service Management Company during the COVID-19 pandemic. Presented with unprecedented challenges, we joined forces with state agencies and the USDA to tackle food security issues head-on and packed and delivered grocery-style food boxes around the northeast to those in need.
After months of dedicated efforts to package perishable items such as vegetables, milk, meat, and dairy products, it became clear that there was a pressing need for local food-focused packing facilities. Leveraging our extensive 30+ years of experience in the food service industry, we established Vermont Blue Sky Packing right in our hometown of Sheldon, Vermont.
